Empathy-based Family Development Spectrum

Please join us for this 3-hour training focused on FAMILY Development. This empathy-based program is a comprehensive psychosocial approach to strengthening caregiver/parent-child interaction and relationships. Empathy provides the foundation of attitudes and values which motivate caregivers guiding them in the positive social-emotional, cognitive and regulative/moral development of their children.

Partners at Mikva Challenge will share best practices and strategies to provide impactful experiences for and with youth. Learn about the role of adults in youth-adult partnerships, the potential of digital media (facilitated by Free Spirit Media), and best practices in youth engagement.

Advocacy 101

This interactive experience is designed to engage participants in a dialogue about how to identify issues impacting their communities and develop and implement effective advocacy strategies. Using a violence prevention lens, participants will develop the beginnings of an advocacy strategy related to current issues impacting their work.
