Join Alliance of Local Service Organizations (ALSO)’s 25th Annual Walk Virtual Walk for Peace! No one is free from the threat or act of violence until we are ALL free from the threat or act of violence. The Safe Streets team prevents community violence and intervenes to prevent violence from escalating. ALSO works hand-in-hand with people living in-risk of violence through mentorship, options, and direct services. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, attendees are unable to gather safely and walk for peace together, but can all take a walk individually and share pictures with one another. You can choose to walk, run, or jog around your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or your favorite trail.
