This ICOY session is designed for nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers with little to no experience writing a grant proposal. Participants will learn: how to discern if a funding opportunity is a good fit for their organization; the difference between public and private grants; the current trends in grant-making; how to structure a grant proposal for a foundation grant; and how to respond to an IDHS request for proposals.
