This event hosted by Pediatric Residents and Fellows Diversity Committee of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Strengthening Chicago’s Youth will examine the film “Just Mercy” and inequities our justice system places on people of color, specifically those who are incarcerated. The film shines a light on these issues and flaws that lie within the justice system.
Important clips from the film will be highlighted and will lead into a virtual panel discussion with a variety of experts in the field about the reform that is needed.
