This Nehemiah Trinity Rising virtual training in partnership with Patrick M. Magoon Institute for Healthy Communities will assist individuals, organizations and communities in navigating difficult conversations and address polarizing issues using restorative justice philosophy, processes and practices. The awareness building and foundational skills are provided through two highly interactive workshops. Part 1 provides an overview of restorative justice and its’ intersections with conflict transformation, trauma and resilience (including historical trauma) and community building. Part 2 provides restorative strategies and communication skills for productively probing causation and discussing conflict/harm in everyday settings. Attendance at both sessions is required.
